Lauren Freeman graduated from Rice University in 2007, and the University of Oregon School of Law in 2010. She has been a member of the Oregon State Bar since 2010. For over a decade, Lauren practiced juvenile delinquency and dependency law. During that time, she represented clients in hundreds of cases, appearing regularly in contested hearings and trials, and arguing matters at both the trial and appellate levels. Lauren also supervised a law clerk program and served on several juvenile law committees, contributing to the development of policy and practice in the field.

Lauren later transitioned to family law, where she draws on her extensive courtroom experience and advocacy skills to help clients navigate complex family issues with diligence, clarity, and compassion.

Outside of her practice, Lauren enjoys live music, skiing, traveling, cheering on the Oregon Ducks, and spending time with her dog, Banana.

“And once the storm is over you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, in fact, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.”
